We have been very busy at the end of last year and this year and just wanted to update some of our projects. We have completed a 10.5 x 22 ft ball mill In NC. We only relined the ball mills cylinder/barrel this time around. The reason for that is the end walls last twice as long as the life of one barrel lining. The barrel lining on the ball mills is 2 1/2 inch thick and the end walls are 6 inches. We also have completed a mill of the same size in Texas. Both ball mill relines were completed in under 5 days and the customers were up and running productively. We also have relined some 36 inch by 48 inch mills in the process. A&B Industrial Ceramics can handle mills of any size and at any location. Our ball mill installers and labors have recently just completed their MSHA part 48 B training for the year also. We look forward to another productive year with the ball mill installations along with sales in the ceramics, keeping updating our safety training and expos.
This was a brand new ball mill by Metso, that our company A&B Industrial Ceramics LLC did a complete ceramics installation on. We used our own A&B Industrial private labeled epoxy that makes the end product come out looking spectacular. This ball mill installation consist of pre engineered end wall and 2 inch barrel lining. We completed the ball mill installation in 4 days and have another satisfied customer.
A&B Industrial Ceramics LLC recently just completed a 6×8 ceramic ball mill in Michigan last week. The job was completed in 5 days even with delays beyond our control. Our company strives to assist the customer and get them back up and running as soon as possible. A&B Industrial Ceramics tore out the existing ball mill that was lined with White Portland Cement and replaced it with new A&B Industrial Ceramics tile that were 2x2x6 tongue and groove. We installed the new ceramic tile using white Portland cement. Attached is some pictures from our recent project.
A&B Industrial Ceramics recently completed two ball mill projects that were lined with ceramics. The first project was a 6×8 ceramic ball mill that was lined with ceramics and held in place with white Portland cement. Our crew tore out the ceramic ball mill and relined the ball mill with ceramics in 4 days. The second ceramic ball mill was a 8×10. It was also lined with ceramics and held in place by white Portland cement. The total time of the job was 4 1/2 days and that is tearing out old ceramic linings and replacing it with new A&B Industrial Ceramics lining. We continue to cut down on the time of the ceramic projects but with the curing time of the ball mills with the Portland cement or epoxy is one of the only things that holds us up. We will continue to share our experiences and also new ceramic products that we receive in. Attached is a few pictures of our most recent projects.
